Computer Maintenance – Do It Yourself!

Hardware problems are often more complicated. But it’s always worth taking a moment to open up your computer and use a brush or vacuum cleaner to carefully clean out all the dust that’s built up in side.

Of course, Moto’s delay in the Bionic doesn’t bode well for that handset’s future. Issues with moto battery life seem to be native to the island with LTE devices at the moment. And the Bionic adds the strain of a dual-core processor to be able to 4G’s vampiric embrace.

While we are talking about price, the price difference between a Netbook and some of the less expensive laptops is not that much. It may be worth taking some time to shop around and compare prices on some laptops and some Netbooks to see which is the better deal for you.

The Microsoft “iPad” will be a shiny device. But it won’t do “computer-y” things as well as a Mac or a desktop PC, and it won’t be as easy to use as an iPad. That puts it in a weird middle ground, which I’m not sure will be good for sales. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong, though. Who knows?

Another myth about the Mac is that they are immune to viruses and completely safe from being hacked. While it is true that it is less likely to get a virus on a Mac because virus programs written for Windows will not run on a Mac, there are viruses that are written for Macs out there. Macs also do have a better security measures than Windows xp and earlier versions since the default user account does not have admin rights, but they are not impossible to hack either.

There are a lot of hardware components that run together to make your PC work. Over time, these components can age and begin to work improperly. Unfortunately, these problems are hard to fix because they aren’t always consistent. Moreover, the components inside that tower can overheat and begin to fail. If your RAM (random access memory) or Central Processing unit (CPU) gets too hot, they will fail and your computer will crash.

Second, you can brainstorm other topics that your child would like to learn. Perhaps they want to learn a programming language, or learn about computer hardware or photo editing. Then you can locate a tutorial for just that particular skill. You can often find tutorials free on the internet, or at the library. If they do not know what they want to study, I often suggest getting a tutorial from the library on how to use Microsoft office. That includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and. the other one that i can never remember:-) Anyway, simply taking those tutorials and using those programs on their regular schoolwork, will enable them to become computer savvy and even use those skills in the workplace.

Do you see how this is integration marketing? He offered a license of his software, which people paid a small fee for as part of buying their computer. He got to keep the names of the software customers. (Hello? That’s called list building.) So now every time there is an upgrade in the software he can promote that to his list and every time someone takes him up on that he keeps 100% of the money. And believe me, there have been lots of upgrades during this time!
